Former Faafu Atoll MP Ghafoor passes away

Former MP Abdul Ghafoor Ibrahim, who represented F. Atoll, passed away on Monday morning at the age of 68.

According to reports, he suffered a stroke and had been receiving treatment for a kidney condition.

In response to his passing, the Parliament expressed condolences to his family on behalf of the Speaker and all members.

Abdul Ghafoor served as a member of Parliament from February 27, 2005, to May 17, 2009.
