Economic Ministry sets opening hours for cafe's, restaurants and shops during Ramadan

Economic Ministry has announced the opening hours for cafe's, restaurants and shops during Ramadan and first week of Shawwal.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, cafes and restaurants will remain open from 1730-0300 hrs during Ramadan, and 1630-0300hrs during the first seven days of Shawwal.

The Ministry said shops will be opened from 0530-0100hrs.

As per the calendar, the first day of this year's Ramadan falls on 11 March.
