Man arrested over bomb threat

A man has been arrested over a bomb threat.

Police said on Monday that a Maldivian man was arrested at Hanimaadhoo Regional Airport for giving bomb threats at the departure.

Police did not provide any further details.

The incident is currently under investigation.
