Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said N. Manadhoo Harbour Channel Dredging and Breakwater Construction Project is well underway.
According to MTCC, construction of jetty is ongoing with 70% completion. In addition that, bed preparation work is ongoing to install jetty columns.
Scope of work for the project include 13,216cbm existing harbor dredging operations, 17,450cbm entrance channel dredging operations, construction of a 183m breakwater, a 188m revetment, construction of a concrete bridge (4.5m x 244m), construction of a 244m jetty, construction of south side concrete jetty (105m x 5m), construction of Ramp (10m x 10m), installation of navigational aids.
The project is valued at MVR 36.94 million.
