Parliamentary Election 2019 -- One Photo: Auzam
Elections Commission has extended the polling times for all ballot boxes in Maldives for the Parliamentary Election 2019.
Polls were scheduled to be closed at 4:00pm previously, however with the extension polling will come to a close at 6:00pm.
According to the latest statistics by the Elections Commission, a total of 140,900 people had voted out of an eligible 264,442 eligible voters.
With this, the voter turnout for this election has risen up to 53.28% meaning 46.72% of eligible voters are yet to vote.
