Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the quay wall block installation work for Sh. Maaungoodhoo Harbor Development Project has reached 98% progress.
According to the company, the quay wall concrete capping work is currently ongoing with 27% completion, and new harbor basin dredging work has reached 41% completion.
MTCC also revealed that the scope of works include, 59,013cbm of dredging operations, 3,245cbm of channel dredging operations, construction of a 362m breakwater; a 312m quay wall; a 105m revetment; installation of 1,509sqm harbor pavement, construction of a ramp & concrete jetty, installation of harbor lights.
The value of the project is MVR 56.33 million.
