The total number of tourist arrivals this year has crossed the half-a-million mark.
Tourism Minister Dr. Abdulla Mausoom Tweeted that this is a 22% increase compared to last year.
As per the statistics released by the Tourism Minister, a total 400,000 tourists visited Maldives in the first four months of 2022, showing an increase of 150,000 tourist arrivals this year.
