Crocodile spotted near Bolidhuffaru caught and released: MNDF

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) on Friday said they have caught and released the crocodile spotted near K. Bolidhuffaru.

The crocodile was spotted near the shore of K. Bolidhuffaru - an island being developed as a resort - sometime yesterday evening.

MNDF informed the media on Friday that the crocodile was caught and released 24 nautical miles off the coast of Bolidhuffaru.

The crocodile measured 14ft, MNDF said.
