Bank of Maldives (BML) has today announced the 10 winning proposals for the third and fourth quarter of its Community Fund for the year.
The winning projects are:
- Outdoor Library at School by BandeyriStar Sports Club in H. A. Maarandhoo
- Beach Picnic Park by SEED Association in N. Lhohi
- Harbour Waiting Area by Mundoo Zuvaanunge Jamiyya in L. Mundoo
- Picnic Area by Kissaru NGO in G. A. Kondey
- Waiting Area at School by Maduvvaree Ijthimaaee Gulhun in M. Maduvvaree
- Upgrading School Computer Lab by Arula Sports Academy in Sh. Foakaidhoo
- Upgrading School Alimas Park by Milandhoo Sports Club in Sh. Milandhoo
- Digitization of Classrooms by Women Enhancement in L. Fonadhoo
- Installation of Street Lights by Maalhos Recreation and Environment Society in B. Maalhos
- Community Garden by Vehi Saafu in S. Hithadhoo
The Community Fund is a program to empower NGOs to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects.
As of today, the Bank has provided financial assistance for 80 projects across the country through this Fund.
