Parliament gives approval to appoint Aishath Shan as German Ambassador

The Parliament has approved to appoint Aishath Shan Shakir as Maldivian Ambassador to Germany.

Parliament's Foreign Relations Committee met on Monday to discuss the appointment of the new Ambassador. Aishath Shan Shakir received unanimous approval from the committee at today's meeting.

She has previously filled the role of Maldivian High Commissioner to Bangladesh and currently serves as Chief of Protocol.
