Tourist arrivals in 2022 exceed 500,000

Total tourist arrivals to date in 2022 has exceeded 500,000 with the UK as the top market for the first time.

Average tourist arrival in April is a t 5133 as per the Ministry's statistics, with the average stay at 8.5 days.

From the top source markets, UK is currently ranked first with 65,683 arrivals (13.2%). India is currently second ranked with 54,532 tourist arrivals (10.9%) with Russia in third with 53,716 arrivals (10.8%).

Although tourist arrivals from Russia has seen a slight decline, annual tourist arrival has seen a 45% increase in comparison with 2021 so far.
