COVID-19 total rises to 1,633 in Maldives with 42 new cases

The total number of cases in Maldives has risen to 1,633 with 42 new cases being reported today.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that as of 3:00pm, 42 new cases of COVID-19 have been discovered.

HPA revealed that among these new cases there were 28 Bangladeshis, 13 Indians alongside a Maldivian.

While 1,633 cases have now been discovered in the Maldives, 242 people have recovered from the infection. Five deaths have been recorded so far.
