New Ambassador appointed to Malaysia

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Wisaam Ali as the new Ambassador of Maldives to Malaysia today.

The new ambassador was presented the documents of Ambassadorship at a ceremony at the President's Office today.

The Parliament had given their approval for the appointment last December.

AaAmbassador Wisam, who had been living in Malaysia for a long time had also been politically active previously.
