National Airline, Maldivian, cuts cost of domestic air fare by 25 to 30 per cent.
A statement released by Island Aviation Services Ltd. (IASL), said that the decision has been made to cut down the price of domestic air travel and that this was taken following talks with the government to ensure that domestic round-ticket fare for Maldivians and expatriate workers are lowered.
The statement reiterated that this is part of the 100-day pledges made by the current administration to make air travel more affordable.
The company stated that tickets will be sold at lower fares through IASL ticketing offices and agents starting from the 10th of this month.
