Samples have been collected from a Maldivian at JA Manafaru to be tested for COVID-19 Corona Virus after developing symptoms of the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) tweeted today that the individual has been placed under home-isolation. The resort is currently under monitoring.

The individual has been placed under home-isolation.
The resort is currently under monitoring.
HPA said that the resort is under monitoring status until the results come back as a precautionary measure.
So far 13 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives; all foreigners. The government have previously said that five of them have recovered from the illness.
