President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has decided to appoint Aishath Mohamed Did as the new Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services.
In a Tweet sent out today, President Solih said that he has received a letter of resignation from the former Gender Minister, Shidhatha Shareef, and thanked her for the work during her time.
Today, I have received the resignation of Shidhatha Shareef as Minister of Gender, Family & Social Services. I thank her for her service. I have also decided to appoint Aishath Mohamed Didi presently our Ambassador in New Delhi as the Minister of Gender, Family and Soc. Services.
